Published in the Federal Register on September 11, 2020

During the spring of 1966, human remains and funerary items were disturbed by Clyde Anderson, a resident of St. Johns, Michigan. Mr. Anderson explored the area in search of an early nineteenth‐century Native American village. He removed the human remains and later re‐buried them in the summer of 1966. During 1966, human remains and funerary items were uncovered by the Upper Grand Valley Chapter of the Michigan Archaeological Society (UGVC). The UGVC donated the remains and cultural items to Michigan State University, which accessioned them in 1970.
