2004.46.58 - Repatriated

On an unknown date, this individual was acquired by Kalamazoo resident, Donald Boudeman, who collected Native American material culture in the first half of the twentieth century. In July 1961, years after her husband's death, Donna Boudeman donated the human remains to the Michigan State University Museum. The database record indicates this individual was recovered from a mound in Cass County, Michigan, though it also erroneously refers to the individual as an infant, rather than an adult.
