Back to State Level Objects List

We have identified 215 Native American objects in our collections from Arizona. We have yet to identify any funerary objects within these objects. These objects range from adzes, hoes, pendants, shell necklaces, twine, squash stems, maize cobs, drills, stone tools, baskets, clothing items, cradleboards, trays, bowls, rattles, rugs, ceramic sherds, stone figures, ceramic vessels, metates, ladles, spindle whorls, gravers and awls, and a small number of archaeological collections.

The objects originate from the following counties: Apache, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Maricopa, Navajo, Pima, and Yuma. However, for many, no more specific geographic location is known beyond the state of Arizona.
