Physical Return Completed!

During the week of April 29, the NAGPRA Program Manager traveled to the Southwest United States at the bequest of the Navajo Nation to return their ancestor to them. The ancestor was officially repatriated to the Tribe in 2020.

In the same trip, she stopped by California State University-Sacramento to return an ancestor to Wilton Rancheria. This ancestor was officially repatriated to them in 2023. 

We are glad that both returns were successful and that these ancestors are now back home.
